The overall aim of the project is to "contribute to strengthening of State of Law and fight against impunity, so that victims of violations of human rights and international humanitarian law can effectively assert their rights for truth, justice and reparation. ". At the same time the specific aim of the project is to ensure that "the victims of conflict have effective mechanisms of orientation, attention, promotion of their rights and access to justice." Expected Results: 1. Victims involved in conflict can access to judicial and administrative proceedings to obtain truth, justice and reparations for their rights. 2. The State institutions provide effective support to the victims for their rights and judicial and administrative proceedings. 3. The institutions responsible for assisting victims coordinate their approaches, avoiding duplication of efforts and working under the principle of shared responsibility for the victims. The overall aim of this mission is to provide the Government of Colombia, the services of external cooperation of the EU and generally to the public, information on quality of the project by notifying the responsible the extent to which the objectives of the Convention have been met and evaluating project management.
