The PADSEL-NEA has the commission to support the country and particularly the communes in developing methods of decentralized programme, in identification of socio-economic groups and their needs and find sustainable solutions according to a global approach.
The project's strategy for the economic development in the region is based on the integration of four major areas of intervention:
- Development of strategies and local development plans at municipal level;
- Improvement of the socio-economic community;
- Promotion of productive activities;
- Strengthening the capacity of local actors.
The objectives of the project in its final phase of implementation (which this contract is part) are as follows:
• Perpetuation of the processes, methods and development tools by strengthening the management performance of social and local development program.
• Institutional capacity building, methods and techniques of actors and partners of the Social Development Agency (ADS), in order to improve the performance of actors and sustainable methods after the end of the PADSEL-NEA.
