The subject of this study is the Support to Policing of Crimes Against Women and Children in the Eastern Cape Programme, funded by the European Commission as part of the European Programme for Reconstruction and Development in South Africa. The overall objective of this programme is to improve safety and security for the people of the Eastern Cape. This theme is developed into the specific programme purpose of prevention of crimes against women and children and improving the services delivered to people affected by such crimes in geographical priority areas.The Mid Term Review is finalized to assess the relevance, impact effectiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the programme to date against the results anticipated in the programme logical framework..
