In Argentina, of the 5.4 million people of all ages who did not finish secondary school, only 575,000 young people and adults are studying in schools in the “EDJA” (Youth and Adult Education). The offer for adult education is essentially from the Government. Of the 4616 schools, 92.7% is managed by the Government.

The General Objective of the Program is aimed to "Contribute to improving access capabilities to the world of work of young people and young adults from the most vulnerable sectors in the Republic of Argentina".

The Specific Objective aims to "Promote the completion of secondary education and job training for youth from 18 to 29 years, expanding the access to quality offerings."

 

It seeks to create an educational service of quality for the ending of the articulated secondary education with training for the world of work, aimed at young people in socially vulnerable and training oriented towards local social economic requirements, thus contributing to increase the capacity for the work performance of large sectors of the young population.

 

The objectives of this contract are:

Through this contract, the consortium will have the responsibility to provide the organization and logistics for the development of 13 exchanges of experiences and horizontal cooperation among peers within the visibility of experiences of articulation EDJA / FP developed under the Program, including members of headquarters and centres related to the program, initially being the following provinces: Mendoza, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca, Tucumán, Jujuy, Formosa, Chaco, Entre Rios, Corrientes, Misiones, Chubut and Santiago del Estero.

The activity consists on the visit of a delegation of a seat of the Program to another educational one in the same or other jurisdiction, and the subsequent visit of a delegation from the second to the first. It is hoped that this exchange between different teachers and students teams help visualize the particular experiences that are effective in different jurisdictions, in order to contribute to the visibility of the training experiences between instructors, managers of offices and centers and among young people themselves and adults
