The program of support for the reintegration of demobilized soldiers of the national armed forces of Chad pursues the following overall objective: to contribute to peace and long-term stability of Chad by supporting the reform of the security tool for Republicans standards. The specific objective of the support program is the social-economic reintegration of 5.000 former recently demobilized soldiers of the national armed forces of Chad in order to assist them in returning to civil life and laying the foundations for a reinstatement of other soldiers to be demobilized in the coming months. The results and planned activities are as follows: 1. Outcome 1: The target group, returning communities and citizens are familiar with the program objectives; 2. Outcome 2: Demobilized soldiers are framed and committed to returning generating activities and are reintegrated into civilian life; 3. Outcome 3: The administrative, financial and monitoring / evaluation capacity, of the national coordinating structure responsible for reintegration, CODEREM, is strengthened. The program, started in June 2013, was extended for three more months two times increasing its overall duration to 24 months (until 30/06/2015). The support program amounts to € 5.000.000
