The EU support to the justice reform in Jordan aims at enhancing the independence and impartiality of the judiciary, upgrading its quality and strengthening its administrative capacity. The general objective is to enhance the rule of law by upholding democratic principles, in particular the principle of separation of powers. The specific objectives of the Sector Reform Contract are: a. To support the judicial independence; b. To support the development of an efficient, transparent and integrated justice sector in line with democratic principles, good governance and human rights; c. To strengthen the credibility and public confidence in the administration of justice according to the rule of law. The EU considered necessary to be more visible and to enhance its communication efforts towards better informing the public and the authorities about the EU's comprehensive assistance for supporting the justice reforms in Jordan. The key target audience of this communication strategy are the general public, the different stakeholders of the reform and the clients of the justice system. The global objective of the assignment is therefore to improve the public awareness and visibility of the EU to support the Justice reform in Jordan, and about benefits of the reform supported by the EU.
