The global objective of this project is to increase visibility and raise awareness of the EC’s support to the Java Reconstruction Fund. The specific objective is to capture the success of the Java Reconstruction Fund through a documentary video which can be developed into a series of vignettes, which should include but not limited to: • Sense of gratefulness from beneficiaries in receiving grants. • Important role of the government. • Benefits for the community in receiving transition and permanent houses. • The positive aspect of community based reconstruction to communities. • Impacts to livelihoods as houses are completed. • Advantages of community settlement planning to reduce risk to disasters, etc. • JRF contribution to support the recovery of Livelihood and Income Generating Activities and complementarities with GoI programs. • Benefits of the communities in receiving the livelihood and income generating assistance. • Benefits of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Community Financial Institutions (Micro Finance Institution) in receiving the grants and technical assistance. The consultant has to provide assistance to the EC Delegation in Indonesia in the production of a video broadcast documentary and a series of vignettes. The service involve the production of a video broadcast documentary (story concept/ story board, script writing, location decision, footage shoots, editing and packaging) and a preparation of a promotion plan. The footages are done in districts in Yogyakarta, Central Java and West Java based on a proposal by the Contractor and agreed with the EC Delegation in Indonesia. The targets of the video and vignettes are the members of the EU and related stakeholders, mass media and general public with special focus to European and Indonesian citizens. The Contractor has managed the following specific activities: • Developed the overall project management of the video documentary and vignette production (from story concept to final packaging). • Developed a comprehensive timeline for effective implementation. • Provided reports as detailed in the required outputs.
