The global objective is to strengthen research and innovation to the benefit of economic & social development in Kosovo and to build capacity of research institutions in Kosovo to participate effectively in the EU 7th Framework Programme for Research (FP7) activities and with research networks in Europe. The specific objective is to draft the Guidelines for Grant Applicants for a grant scheme for Research Capacity Development in Kosovo which is part of the IPA 2010 Education programme. The project is to be based on the IPA 2010 project fiche entitled 'Education and Employment - Research Capacity Development in Kosovo' drafted by the European Commission Liaison Office to Kosovo in close cooperation with the beneficiary administrations.
