The overall objective of the project is to reduce poverty in Malawi through the strengthened involvement of the Government in the identification and implementation of EU financed projects and programmes within focal and non focal sectors, thereby ensuring that the benefits from the Cotonou Partnership Agreement are fully realised in Malawi. The specific objective of this contract is to provide assistance to the NAO-SU infrastructure desk in order to ensure: - Delivery of commitments and targets on tome and within budget - Effective and efficient infrastructure project delivery, implementation and monitoring under the EDF programme in Malawi; - Timely preparation, launch, technical evaluation, and award of infrastructure portfolio (service, supplies, works tenders) - Effective and efficient implementation of the road sector budget support programme
