The overall objective of this contract is: to train staff and assist in the preparation of operational advocacy plans for the EU funded Social Protection implementing partners that will strengthen services to children- and women-at-risk and to persons with disability, and contribute to sustainable improvement in the lives of these vulnerable groups. The specific objectives are: 1. Organise and carry out a training session on basics of advocacy (meaning, target bodies, key issues, various strategies) to concerned staffs in EU-funded Social Protection portfolio; 2. Assist and support the preparation/updating of precise operational advocacy plans for the following partner agencies: Child Rights Consortium, Medica Mondiale, Women for Afghan Women, who addresses women-at-risk, and the five disability service providers, that will augment their respective overall objectives and plans. The potential for synergies between these categories is also considered.
