The overall objective of the Support Programme for the Reform of Education is to improve the performance of the education system through raising the level of teaching skills and management of professionals targeting the improvement of the efficiency of sectoral spending, increasing of equity and reducing regional disparities of the results. The specific objectives are: a) improving the quality of education by supporting the training and continuing educational support; b) improving and strengthening the management of the education system at central and local levels.
