The overall objective is to associate the audiovisual sector of the ACP States (directors, producers, artists, cinema managers) with the international cinema market, especially with the international market of the Cannes Festival. The specific objective is to ensure the participation of the ACP Secretariat Cannes Festival market , as institution that supports ACP professionals. Thanks to the Pavilion “Les Cinemas du Monde”, the ACP Secretariat will conclude a partnership with the Cannes Film Festival. It will offer, in particular, the technical capacity to the ACP Secretariat in order to: 1) Finalize the partnership between the ACP Secretariat and the Cannes Film Festival for the 2010 edition, paying particular attention to guarantee the coherence of public policies of the ACP States Group, European Union and other international organizations, particularly as for the organization of workshops, meetings and promotional events of the Pavilion “Les Cinemas du monde”; 2) Guarantee the institutional coordination in the field of culture, in particular with other partners (TV5, RFI, FESPACO, OIF, etc.).
