The overall objectives of this contract are to contribute to the local development processes initiated in Jordan and to improve Jordan-EC cooperation in this field taking into account the institutional, financial and operational scenarios. The specific objectives of the mission are to design two EC interventions (of 3Meuros and 5Meuros each project) aiming at building the development capacities of Jordanian Municipalities and at advancing local development processes, fitting into the relevant Jordanian policy frameworks in this field. The demonstration of relevance and feasibility of such projects will support the EC process to concluding financing agreements.
