In Malawi, the Non State Actors sector is large and diverse contributing to significant international resource mobilization and creation of employment. The capacity building Programme for Non State Actors (NSA) in Malawi is a joint project of the Malawi Government and the European Union to strengthen the capacity of NSAs to provide effective and improved service delivery to local communities as well as to define independently their policy agendas and be more actively involved in policy dialogue with the government on development issues. The objective of the proposed Technical Assistance contract is to provide a team of experts to strengthen the capacity of Malawian NSA in service delivery and representation of their constituencies’ voice. The specific objectives of this contract are as follows: - To develop high quality training curriculum and manuals; - To train local trainers to roll out the training programme developed.
