The purpose of this evaluation is to account to the legislative authority and wider public for the funds expended under the Uprooted People Regulation; to provide the relevant external co-operation services of the European Commission with an overall independent and accountable evaluation of the activities financed by the EC under the Regulation in the context of overall Community development co-operation; and in addition to obtain feedback on how to improve future EC operations in this field.
