The Ministry for Political Development (MoPD), established in 2003, has defined in its Political Development Strategy and Action Plan a certain number of objectives in this area including: - Fostering an energetic political environment and an active civil society from which political parties / national streams can emerge through wider representation; - Adopting a policy of openness, promoting the culture of citizenship, dialogue and accepting the rights of other to participate; - Enhancing democratic governance practices. The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen the institutional and administrative capacity of the MoPD and to improve the political dialogue with the civil society.
