The Institutional Support Programme (ISP) was finalised to contribute to the creation of a functioning and representative democratic government through a transparent electoral process, and secondly, to initiate and sustain an improvement in public sector finance and macro-economic management of Liberia’s resources and economy. The objective of the assignment is to assess the relevance and appropriateness of the design, planning, implementation and financing patterns of ISP. Key recommendations and feedback on the ISP will be important to identify key issues and future actions which can guide future EC programming in the institutional support sector.
