The Country Strategy Paper for Colombia states that the main EC objective is to provide support for the achievement of peace in Colombia. On this regard, the fight against the deepest conflict reasons to fulfill such objective, is founded on the State of Right and in particular on the strengthening of the judicial system of Colombia, that is one of the highest incidence sectors within the country social frame, aimed at the achievement of a peaceful human society.This programme indicates the strategy to strengthen the judicial sector, in order to promote the consolidation of the State of Right and the reduction of crimes remained unpunished in Colombia, focusing on the Penal System.The main strategy is based on the analysis that in order to reduce unpunished crimes in Colombia, Justice Management System must be improved, and turned accessible to common people.
