This project is part of a preparatory phase for the Support to Policing of Crimes against Women and Children in the Eastern Cape Financing Proposal. The team of experts will:- Conduct a background study of the dynamics and needs related to the concept of Community Safety Forums (CSF).- Based on the background study, advise the Programme Steering Committee on the types of action(s) to be included for funding under the Grants in compliance with the Financing Agreement.- Compile and draft detailed Guidelines for Applicants that explain the purpose and the rules of the Calls for Proposals as well as the Evaluation Criteria/Grids and other relevant procurement documents.- Design and present one workshop to the Programme Governance structures on the EC Grant making procedures for a Local Calls for proposals in the E/Cape.- Design and present one workshop to potential Grant applicants on the EC Grant making procedures for a Local Calls for proposals in the E/Cape.
