The global objective of this project is to progressively conduct Cameroon to strengthen the respect of human rights. This in order to improve the functioning of the prisons and judiciary system. The specific objectives of the project are to reduce the malfunctioning and the abuses connected to the preventive imprisonment and to improve the awareness of the prisoners of their rights and of penal law.
