The final objective of the project was the establishment of an overall system of legal aid for Kosovo, exploring synergies and enhancing co-ordination between the system for legal aid in civil and administrative matters and criminal matters, in compliance with applicable international standards, to be led by the competent State authorities. This agreement were articulated in 3 main activities:(1) Preparation of terms of reference for an Agency project financed under the Cards 2004 programme;(2) Setting up of a working group to follow up on the results of the Agency study on the establishment of an overall system for legal aid;(3) Preparation of a first draft of the UNMIK regulation on legal aid
