The Multi-Country Program for North Africa “Supporting the integrated and sustainable management of historical oasis landscapes in North Africa targeted Morocco and Tunisia. This project aims at improving knowledge, tools and policy dialogue on issues related to oasis landscape management and strengthening the capacities of key stakeholders.

The objective of this assignment is to conduct analytical work to support oases labelling and product certification, develop a comprehensive Historical Oasis Information System and strengthen and build capacities of all relevant stakeholders among others.

Task 1: Promoting oasis landscapes as part of the sub-regional and world heritage

Task 2: Supporting the Historical Oasis Information System (OIS)

Task 3: Strengthening and building capacities 

Task 4: Convening and Coordination: Organization of workshops bringing together relevant stakeholders from participating countries (Morocco and Tunisia) to share knowledge and information oasis ecosystems and livelihood enhancement as well as emerging knowledge on related policy guidance
