The project involves the demolition and reconstruction of the two buildings constituting the headquarters of the Diplomatic and Consular Chancellery of Italy in Tirana.

Building-Block A will house:

  • The Diplomatic and Consular Chancellery
  • The Interforce Group, 
  • The Military Attache, 
  • The Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

Building-Block B will house:

  • The Italian Cultural Institute
  • The Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalisation of Italian enterprises (ICE)
  • Two lodgings for Carabinieri on duty at the Headquarters.

The project was drawn up with the aim of combining the dual need to take into account the Italian tradition in terms of architectural composition and choice of materials and finishes, and the need to fit harmoniously into the urban context of the city of Tirana.
