The Issyk Kul Sustainable Development Project aims to: (ì) improve urban infrastructure, including sewerage and sanitation, solid waste management, water supply, and community upgrading; and {li) improve service delivery through better enterprise resource management.

The objectives of the project include:

  • improving public and environmental health conditions of the Issyk-Kul Lake area by supporting sanitation and environmental services in Cholpon-Ata;
  • enhancing liveability and tourism by developing green, climate-resilient, safe, and inclusive spaces, including universal access for people with disabilities and the elderly.
