The Government of Albania is aiming to turn tourism sector into one of the strongest competitive pillars of the country. In 2019, has been approved the “National Strategy for Sustainable Tourism Development, 2019 – 2023”. Albanian Infrastructure Tourism Enabling Programme is a new programme of the Albanian Government.

The overall objective of the “Albanian Infrastructure Tourism Enabling Programme” (AITP) is to improve competitiveness and economic growth of Albania through high quality and sustainable tourism. 

Within the context of the Albanian Infrastructure Tourism Enabling Programme that focuses on both tourism competitiveness in four Pilot Locations, and infrastructure throughout the country, the current assignment refers to the following Component: To enhance and preserve the attractiveness of natural, natural and other assets in the Pilot Territories for tourists, and specifically, the provision of technical assistance, due diligence (project preparation, operation, design and Supervision services) for the Natural sites for the selected territory in the municipalities of  Berat, Korca, Fier and Shkoder.

The objective of this assignment is to provide consultancy services to the Client to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of the Programme with respect to improvement of tourist attractiveness of the Natural sites.
