POSITION:Junior Conservation Architect

COUNTRY / PAYS: Rome Headquarters, Abu Dhabi and Worldwide

STARTING DATE / DATE DE DEMARRAGE: asap

DURATION / DUREE: 12 months, renewable. 3 months trial period

GENERAL OBJECTIVE / OBJECTIVE GENERAL:

PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLICATION SERVICES AND EXPECTED RESULTS / OBJECTIVES PARTICULIERS, SERVICES DEMANDES ET RÉSULTATS A ATTEINDRE:
- Working on urban and architectural conservation projects
- Site surveys, materials, techniques, decay assessment
- Conservation design: concept, schematic,detailed design phases
- Urban fabric surveys and assessment, architectural and construction typologies, inventory, assessment of values and significance, conservation guidelines

QUALIFICATION: - Master Degree in Architecture, Conservation of Heritage Buildings,
- 2nd level Master Degree is an asset
- Conservation Expert with a minimum 3 years experience

Portfolio, Reference letters with contacts.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE / EXPÉRIENCE SPÉCIFIQUE: - Strong design skills and graphic presentational skills are essential
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Eager to work in the international context, in developing countries, and to undertake short or long missions abroad.
- Excellent knowledge of main software, such as Windows Office, AUTOCAD, In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- 3D skills are advantageous
SOFT SKILLS: Self-motivated, independent, proactive, and deeply passionate about heritage conservation. Flexible, hard worker, and able to work in stressful conditions. Good in time management, communication, and team working.
Possessing a driving license and available to drive in the projects countries, when necessary.

WORK LANGUAGE / LANGUE DE TRAVAIL: English and Italian, Arabic is an asset
