GENERAL OBJECTIVE / OBJECTIVE GENERAL: Business Development, Project Management, Support to the Branch Office of Abu Dhabi and Kurdistan

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will mainly assist the Director of Culture and Cultural Heritage sector and the Project Managers in the following activities:
Business Development: Monitoring of international call for tenders, prepare Expression of Interest, and assistance in preparation of bids for International Donors (EU, WB, UNESCO, etc) especially in Developing and Emerging Countries. The same for Governmental bodies of Gulf Countries and Iraqi Kurdistan.
Project Management: monitoring of the budget, resources and time-schedule; administrative management of the contract with the client and with the experts; organization of field missions, coordination and backstopping support to international experts.
Provide specific expertise in projects where his/her professional experience is compatible.
Support to the Branch Office of Abu Dhabi and Kurdistan: Support to the administrative and logistics duties for the branch in Abu Dhabi and in Kurdistan.
Willing to travel for short-medium missions in developing countries and Gulf Area.
QUALIFICATION: 5 years of professional experience in the areas of cultural heritage or public investment to support cultural industry or cultural tourism, some of which in international cooperation projects and/or call for proposal/tenders for International Donors (EU, WB, UNESCO). Previous experience with a consulting firm would be appreciated.
Excellent knowledge and use of main software, such as Windows Office, Photoshop, power point, some project management software such as Primavera, in case of architects knowledge of AutoCAD 2D and 3D,
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; spoken Italian is requested for non-Italians. Excellent ability to write and edit reports or other written materials
Driving license required, capable to drive also during missions abroad.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE / EXPÉRIENCE SPÉCIFIQUE: The candidate must be proactive, hard worker, result-oriented, passionate on culture and cultural heritage. Self-sufficient with problem solving skills. Capable to work under stress. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
