Dott Gaetano Palumbo

Gaetano Palumbo is a specialist in conservation and site management planning.
He has a PhD in Near Eastern Archaeology from the University of Rome `La Sapienza`, and is Honorary Associate Professor at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London.

He is also a member of ICOMOS-UK, of ICAHM (ICOMOS Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management), and of ICIP (ICOMOS Committee on Interpretation and Presentation).

He has consulting experience for various international organizations, and for national heritage institutions in the Middle East.

Previously, he was Senior Lecturer for the course on Managing Archaeological Sites at UCL`s Institute of Archaeology, Program Director at the World Monuments Fund and Project Specialist at the Getty Conservation Institute.
