Architect and professor with PhD degree, 20 years` experience accumulated by several architectural fields in Europe (Italy, England, Romania, Bosnia Herzegovina) and Arab countries (Syria, Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, Oman). An eclectic know-how driven by an unwavering dedication to work: supervision of conservation and restoration of heritage buildings (reinforced concrete structures as well as stone masonry); architectural design, interior design, management of projects and construction sites; CAD drawing, exhibitions and publications, teaching and university research.
Prestigious professional contexts, including "Antonino Salinas" Archaeological Museum in Palermo (2016) in collaboration with the Sicilian Government, the monumental heritage of the Custody of the Holy Land in Middle East (Franciscan Priory of Syria), missions and archaeological research of the University of Palermo in Italy and Syria (PhD research in History and Restoration), also, various housing estates on the outskirts of Tripoli (Libya - 2009) e Muscat (Oman - 2016), the Meeting Palace of Pollina Resort (Sicily - 2018), the restoration of Villa Padulli Stables in Cabiate (Lombardy 2019), New Thermal Pool of Alicudi Hotel in Sciacca (Sicily - 2015), the museum exhibition designs of Himera Temple Eaves (Palermo - 2016) and the booth of `Auriga` sculpture in Mothia Island (2013).
Several researches published concerning cultural heritage: the languages of architectural symbology (Islam and Christianity), with a particular focus on Mediterranean holy traditions in the period between late-ancient age and Medieval era, especially relevant the contexts of Sicily, Southern Italy and Middle East (region of Jebel Qalamoun). Furthermore, the archaeological survey campaign of the ancient monumental settlement called Deir Mar Touma in Saydnaya, directed with the scientific coordination of Franciscan Holy Land Custody and the collaboration of the Oriental Study Center El-Musky in Cairo. Member at the archaeological mission in Tell Shiyukh Tahtani (high Mesopotamia), directed by the prof. G. Falsone (University of Palermo). Intensive collaboration with the team of Syrian Holy Land Custody scholars (P. Castellana, R. Fernandez Ferreira), beginning new geometrical reliefs and studies in the Hellenistic and Byzantine settlement on the cliff of Deir Mar Sarkis in Ma`aloula, Menin, Saidnaya as well as also in ancient churches of early Byzantine period in Jebel Baricha and Jebel el-A`la (Northern Syria). Several lectures for international conferences of ALSSA (Ligurian Association for the Development of Archaeoastronomic Studies), also during international meetings of `Sicilia Millenaria` (University of Messina).
