Mrs. Rahaf is an economist with 11 years of experience in financial management with a specific focus on project coordination and programme planning, budgeting and technical-financial reporting.
She graduated from Damascus university (Syria), Economics in 2009 with a very good grade, and has worked with a variety of actors in Syria and Jordan including the Banking sector, non-governmental organizations, CSOs, and public institutions supporting and supervising the implementation of several initiatives in the domains of women empowerment, support to vulnerable youth, political participation, and human rights.
In Italy, she has been collaborating with ARS Progetti since November 2019 as a project officer working in business development and project management of engineering department (e.g., water management, road maintenance, urban planning, climate resilience) and tourism related projects, with a geographic focus on Africa, Asia and Middle East. Specifically, she provides support to the preparation of Expression of Interests, tenders with a variety of donors (World Bank, EU, UNESCO, AFD, ADB) and administrative support to the following services: evaluation, technical assistance, mapping, identification and formulation.
She speaks three languages; Arabic (mother tongue), English and Italian.
