Nirmiti Sutar

Conservation Architect
Being wholeheartedly passionate about heritage, Nirmiti holds a Master`s degree in Conservation Architecture with honors from Sapienza University of Rome where she presented a design thesis on "How a School rethinks the city - a Conservation and Urban Morphological research". She has volunteered as a conservation architect in "European heritage programs" for surveying and documenting a World heritage site in Spain. This was followed by her work on many projects back in India which involved heritage settlement analysis and conservation of historic town of Yeola, survey and restoration of a Crator lake and a couple of restoration of temple complexes. Nirmiti is also very fond of architectural writing and Urban morphology research. She has published several scientific papers on notions of Urban morphology in journals and conferences which involves major original research on evolution of cities in European and Asian historical contexts. To contribute towards this field and chisel her skills, she works as peer reviewer and graphic editor for ESACH and manages a heritage writing blog online. She likes to work in a team to give her best possible contribution; to learn and share. Here at ARS progetti she has contributed towards a conservation project in Georgia and currently working on a project in AlAin.
