He graduated at Sapienza University of Rome for both "Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Urban designing" (2007) and "MSc Degree in Landscape Architecture" (2010). PhD in Landscape and Environment at Sapienza University of Rome (2018) and Visiting PhD at Van Hall Larenstein of Applied Science (2017) with a thesis titled "Water sensitive urban landscape. Landscape architecture and sustainable management of the water cycle" that examines the contribution of landscape architecture in the implementation of Water Sensitive Urban Design, Sustainable Drainage Systems and Low Impact Development investigating in depth the perceptual aspects.
