Civil Engineer, Sanitation and Environment Specialist - Project & Tender Manager
Mrs. Mónica Jiménez Baldivieso was born and raised in Cochabamba, Bolivia. With a background of Civil Engineering from the Engineering Military School of Cochabamba (12/2015). After some years working in Solid Waste Management, Concrete Structures and Drinking Water in her hometown, she decided to start a Master in Science in the Double Degree Program from Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia) and UNESCO IHE (Delft, The Netherlands) in Urban Water & Sanitation (04/2021), where she developed a modelling procedure to better understand the behaviour of intermittent water supply systems, analyze its cross-contamination risk due to low/negative internal pressure and proposed a manual on how to reuse cross-contaminated drinking water.

Right after completing her MSc program, she started working in the Brenner Basis Tunnel construction site as Quality Control Engineer. Expecting different experiences, she decided to work within the topic of her MSc. and switch to an Engineering Italian company developing the International Tenders Office. Looking for greater technical opportunities, personal and professional growth, she is in her actual position in A.R.S. Progetti as a Project and Tender Manager.
The main motivation behind this step is the same one that led her to study Civil, Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, and it is the PASSION to bring both things together: DEVELOPMENT in the most appropriate way, taking care of the ENVIRONMENT and the SOCIAL component by giving the opportunity of improve quality of life of many people.
