He has a PhD in Experimental Education with a focus on the link between evaluation theories and applied research methods (qualitative and quantitative techniques). He has acquired a wide experience working in different countries in Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America with a variety of donors and stakeholders (EU, AICS, FAO, ILO, UNICEF, IADB, etc.). He has gained experience in designing evaluation systems and conducting research and evaluation studies (research design, impact studies, meta-evaluations, formative evaluations, surveys, high level evaluations). Italian mother-tongue, he is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
