Biodiversity and sustainable development expert with more than 20 years of international experience. Mr Luchetti holds a Master on Biodiversity, Protected Areas and Ecological Corridors and has a long policy and practice experience in the interrelations between livelihood and environmental issues such as conservation, climate change, agriculture and food security, ecosystem services, protected areas, wildlife management. He has worked in the IUCN Secretariat, in the National Council of Protected Areas of the Italian Ministry of the Environment and at the FAO as Secretary of the Interdepartmental Working Group on Biodiversity. He has participated in several international meetings, conferences at technical and political levels (e.g. CBD, Ramsar, CMS, etc.) in the different capacities of State member, international NGO and UN representatives.
