Barbara holds a Master`s degree in Theory and Practice of Human Rights from the University of Essex, UK. She is an experienced evaluation specialist with over sixteen years of multi-sector experience in the development field, with more than a decade of experience in evaluating project and program outputs and impact. Her key thematic areas of expertise include: civil society engagement, access to justice, women`s rights and empowerment, and child protection. She has worked extensively with international multilateral development organizations such as NGOs/CSOs and UN agencies as well as donors such as AICS, EU, USAID, and SIDA.
Barbara has extensive field experience the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe. She is fluent in English and Italian, with a good working knowledge of French and Spanish.
