Dr. Tayyaba BB is an accomplished structural engineer with expertise in the field of structural health assessment and rehabilitation, particularly focused on brick masonry, reinforced concrete, and mud brick structures. With over 15 years of experience, she has contributed significantly to the field through her work on major international projects sponsored by esteemed organizations such as the Asian Development Bank, World Bank, UNDP, and UNICEF.
Her background in structural health assessment, conservation, and rehabilitation is further supported by her extensive project management experience, as well as her contributions to more than 30 high-impact journal publications. Dr. BB’s international work experience spans several countries, including Pakistan, China, Nepal, Cyprus, and the UAE, giving her a broad perspective and understanding of diverse structural challenges in different regions.
Currently, Dr. BB is working as a project manager under A.R.S. Progetti, and is managing the rehabilitation and conservation efforts at the Al Ain Palace Museum and Al Manhal Palace, with a focus on preserving the historical integrity and structural stability of these significant landmarks. She is also acting as director of operations at ARS Progetti’s UAE branch.
