Arch Shilpa Chandran
Conservation architect
Shilpa Chandran is a conservation architect with a master`s degree in conservation architecture from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". Her thesis focused on the urban regeneration of Valle Aurelia, Rome, reflecting her interest in preserving historical sites. She also volunteered in conservation projects in India during her undergraduate studies.
Shilpa excels at designing with a deep understanding of the context. She enjoys working as part of a team to create simple yet effective solutions. She has participated in several design competitions, further developing her skills. Outside of architecture, she is an artist.
From October 2024, she has been a consultant in the A.R.S Progetti office, working on various architectural restoration and conservation projects.
