POSITION:Works Supervision – Conservation Engineer/Architect
COUNTRY / PAYS: UAE
Al Ain, Abu Dhabi,
STARTING DATE / DATE DE DEMARRAGE: Immediate, mid-June 2023
DURATION / DUREE: 6 months, with possible one year extension.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE / OBJECTIVE GENERAL: In this position he/her will be responsible for supervising works in heritage context of building made of reinforced concrete and stone masonry structures.
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLICATION SERVICES AND EXPECTED RESULTS / OBJECTIVES PARTICULIERS, SERVICES DEMANDES ET RÉSULTATS A ATTEINDRE:
He/her will act as ARS Progetti Resident Engineer in construction site.
He/her may also cover other managerial position for the Abu Dhabi brnach, liaising with clients and partners, and managing the office in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain
QUALIFICATION: EDUCATION: Master Degree in Architecture, Engineer and Conservation of Heritage Buildings
QUALIFICATION: Conservation Engineer/Architect with minimum 10 years experience, minimum 5 specific years experience in works supervision of conservation and restoration of heritage buildings in reinforced concrete structures as well as stone masonry.
Excellent knowledge and use of computer and main software, such as Windows Office, Primavera, AUTOCAD, Photoshop and Internet.
Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; Arabic is an asset.
Driving license required.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE / EXPÉRIENCE SPÉCIFIQUE: Independent, proactive and deeply passionate in heritage conservation. Self-motivated and hard worker. Excellent communication skills, leadership and team working capacity
