DURATION / DUREE: 6 months, with extension to 1 year. Renewable.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE / OBJECTIVE GENERAL: JOB DESCRIPTION: The resource will assist the Project Manager in the following activities:
Business Development: Elaboration of proposals for international call for tenders focused on cultural heritage conservation and sustainable tourism development, for International Donors (EU, WB, UNESCO) especially in Developing Countries. Monitoring of international call for tenders, identification and liaising with partners and experts, preparation of administrative and technical documents for the Expressions of Interest and Tenders.
Project Management: monitoring of budget, resources and time-schedule; administrative management; liaising with Contracting Authorities and stakeholders; organization of field missions, coordination and backstopping support to international experts.
Support to the Branch Office of Abu Dhabi and Kurdistan: Support to the Abu Dhabi/Kurdistan Branch director for cost data entry and monitoring, administrative management, archive management.
Willing to travel for short-medium missions in developing countries and Gulf area.
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLICATION SERVICES AND EXPECTED RESULTS / OBJECTIVES PARTICULIERS, SERVICES DEMANDES ET RÉSULTATS A ATTEINDRE:
QUALIFICATION: Architect/Urban Planner/Tourism Economist/Archaeologist with 2-5 years of professional experience, some of which in international cooperation projects and/or call for proposal/tenders for International Donors (EU, WB, UNESCO).
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE / EXPÉRIENCE SPÉCIFIQUE: Excellent knowledge and use of computer and main software, such as Windows Office, Primavera and Internet. Familiarity with Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory; spoken Italian is an asset.
Driving license required.
